Day 1: Rome

Discovery of ancient rome: Self-guided tour of the terms of Caracalla, one of the largest bathing establishments with its swimming pools, its libraries, its service rooms. Free visit of the Roman Forum, the ancient heart of the Roman city, center of administrative, political, religious and his Palatine with the archaic huts, the remains of the imperial palaces and the view of the Circus maximus. Self-guided tour of the Colosseum, gladiatorial arena. Walk to the fori imperiali and the Place du Capitole , remodeled by Michelangelo.
Lunch at the restaurant.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.


Day 2: Naples

Breakfast. Early departure for Naples. Discovery of the historic center, the Donjon des Angevins, the Umberto I Gallery, Piazza del Plebescito, via Toledo, the Spaccanapoli district ... Visit to the Archaeological Museum of Naples which houses one of the most important collections of antiques found on the sites of Pompeii, Ercolano, Oplontis, Stabia ..
Lunch in the form of a picnic.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.


Journée 3: Herculanum et le Vésuve

Petit-déjeuner. Visite du site d’Herculanum avec ses maisons, ses thermes, lieu de villégiature pour les riches romains… Ascension du Vésuve, volcan qui domine la baie de Naples et rentra en éruption en 79 ap JC ensevelissant les villes antiques pendant plusieurs siècles. Un des volcans les plus dangereux de la Terre.
Déjeuner sous forme de pique-nique.
Dîner et Nuit à l'hôtel.


Journée 4: Oplontis et Pompéi

Petit-déjeuner. Départ pour la Villa Oplontis, une riche demeure qui aurait appartenu à Poppée l'Impératrice. Sa décoration pariétale bien conservée en fait un des lieux les plus somptueux et un témoignage exceptionnel de l'art antique de la Campanie. Visite de Pompéi. Une découverte de la ville antique qui fut ensevelie et conservée par l’éruption du Vésuve en 79 ap JC. Une approche du quotidien des habitants avec la visite des boutiques, des maisons, du forum, des lieux de spectacles…L’après-midi continuation de la visite avec la Villa des Mystères.

Dîner au restaurant.
The course of our circuits is given as an indication.
